FAQ – Online Orders・Flower Colours・Delivery Time
Here are the most common questions from our customers: how to order online,
how to choose suitable colours, and when to send flowers for wake / funeral / direct cremation.
Online Order – Common Questions
Delivery arrangement? Payment methods? How many names can be printed on the card?
We have collected all the common questions for you on one page.
You can visit our FAQ page for details.
Ordering in advance:
If time allows, online ordering is usually more convenient and reliable than
ordering on-site. It reduces the risk of mistakes during a busy period
and gives you clear, transparent pricing.
How to choose colours for flower stands / wreaths?
The most important thing is that the design matches the ritual and the wording is
correct – not just the colour itself. As a simple reference:
‧ Under 40: mainly white or yellow
‧ 40–80: neutral soft colours (avoid bright red)
‧ Over 80: celebratory longevity funerals may accept brighter red flowers
Note: Cross-shaped designs are only suitable for Christian / Catholic services.
Please avoid choosing them for Buddhist, Taoist or traditional Chinese rituals.
Wake・Funeral・Direct Cremation – What is the difference?
Wake: The family sets up the hall in a funeral parlour and guests
come to pay respects. Flowers are usually delivered after the hall is handed over
and before around 8:00 pm.
Funeral service: After all the rituals are completed, the coffin is
taken to the crematorium or cemetery. Some families prefer flowers to arrive before
the service, some the night before.
Direct cremation / “passing through” service:
A short service followed by immediate cremation. The delivery time window is usually
much shorter (often between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm). As each parlour has different
hall times, please confirm the schedule before ordering.
